The work of the permanent faculty has generated significant impacts, particularly in technical and applied production. Professors have created technical reports, technological products, training courses, and case studies, widely used in public and private organizations. This production totaled 537 events, distributed among presentations, interviews, courses, reports, and technical services, demonstrating the direct transfer of knowledge essential for solving managerial challenges and implementing innovative practices. The social impact of intellectual production was amplified by the presence of professors in high-reach media outlets such as Revista Época Negócios, Valor Econômico, Estadão, G1, and SXSW. The topics addressed included innovation, digital transformation, strategic management, and sustainability, connecting the programs to society and positioning the professors as references in their fields. The international impact was also significant, with initiatives such as the "Developing Social Innovation Digital Ecosystems" project, led by Professor Douglas Wegner, in partnership with TU Dortmund University, which generated a widely accessed policy brief. Professors like Ana Burcharth, Alice Erthal, Livia Barakat, Kadigia Faccin, Hugo Tadeu, and Rodrigo Zeidan also stood out in their respective fields, receiving recognition and participating in globally relevant events. Academically, the programs achieved 1041 published works, including 370 articles in high-impact journals and 537 technical productions, with active participation of professors in international scientific events. Additionally, the partnership with the Central Única das Favelas (CUFA) led to the creation of the Favela Business School, empowering local entrepreneurs and contributing to the reduction of regional inequalities. In terms of social impact, the FDC Transforma program, which awarded more than 1,500 scholarships between 2021 and 2023, contributed to the educational and social inclusion of vulnerable groups. The internationalization of the programs strengthened scientific production and expanded collaboration with renowned international institutions, such as TU Dortmund (Germany) and the Africa Business School. This investment is essential for generating high-quality academic knowledge and fostering innovation. It also ensures that faculty members dedicate a considerable portion of their time to research, resulting in qualified and impactful academic production. **Internationalization and Academic Visibility:** Financial support for faculty participation in international conferences and exchanges increases the programs' visibility and strengthens their presence in the global academic scene. The attraction of visiting professors and the organization of international workshops contribute new approaches and methods to the programs. **Impact of Intellectual Production:** Throughout the quadrennium, FDC produced 370 articles in high-impact journals and 537 technical productions, including reports, courses, and case studies, which were widely used by public and private organizations, promoting direct knowledge transfer. The programs contribute to promoting sustainable practices, reducing inequalities, and advancing health and education. Applied research also focuses on socially relevant topics, such as social innovation, sustainable economic development, and addressing global and local challenges. **Impact on Leadership Training and Social Transformation:** The programs train leaders capable of facing complex challenges, with a strong focus on practical solutions for organizational and social problems. **EXTERNAL FUNDING:** Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) benefits from the support of various companies that finance the participation of their employees in the institution’s Master’s and Executive Ph.D. programs, either through full or partial investment. This funding model strengthens the integration between academia and the corporate sector, fostering the development of applied, high-impact research. **INTERNAL FUNDING:** **Scholarships** In addition to corporate support, FDC offers a social scholarship program aimed at students from specific groups, ensuring greater inclusion and diversity in the academic environment. [CLICK HERE](/sobreafdc/centro-social-cardeal-dom-serafim/bolsa-estudos) to check the selection criteria and the scholarship program’s call for applications (Information in portuguese only). **Faculty and R&D Support** Regarding faculty support, FDC sponsors the participation of professors in national and international conferences, expanding the visibility of their research and strengthening the academic and professional positioning of the Master’s and Executive Ph.D. Programs. The institution’s policy for enhancing the impact of intellectual production also provides resources for faculty participation in academic events, such as conferences and seminars. Additionally, FDC runs programs to host visiting external professors on sabbaticals at the institution. The same support is extended to FDC faculty, who follow specific guidelines to undertake sabbaticals at national and international institutions, fostering knowledge exchange and academic innovation. FDC consistently allocates a significant percentage of its revenue to Research and Development (R&D) activities, ensuring resources for the production of high-impact bibliographic, technical, and technological outputs. This strategic allocation enables faculty members of the Permanent Faculty Core (NDP) to dedicate, on average, 50% of their time to research, development, and advising activities. For faculty members with a 90-hour workload, 80% of their time is specifically allocated to R&D activities. Through this structured financial support, FDC ensures the active participation of its faculty in high-impact academic events, promotes international exchanges, and attracts visiting professors who contribute new research and teaching approaches aligned with the academic strategy of the Graduate Program (PPG).
