FDC’s Learning Journeys in Brazil is a short-duration program tailor-made for the needs of MBA and executive programs of foreign business schools, as well as for any organization willing to provide their participants with immersion experiences in Brazil. In our experience, the co-construction of these programs enables the partner schools to develop meaningful and value-added experiences that will forever change the way program participants view international business, Brazil, and the world. Those immersion programs can be delivered anywhere in Brazil. They can be tailored to meet most pedagogical needs and objectives of the partner school or association. Many programs are delivered in one or more of the FDC campi in Nova Lima, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro or Belo Horizonte. Some programs take place in other locations. For example, past Learning Journeys emphasizing social entrepreneurship have taken place in “favelas” while another, focusing on public sector management, took place in Brasilia, the Capital of Brazil, and was led by a former Federal Minister.
Because Learning Journeys in Brazil is designed as a custom program, the content and teaching methodologies are developed around the particular needs of each group of students, in order to provide them with knowledge, skills and insights to successfully understand and operate in an international business environment. The program can include: - Pre and post modules activities: at the home school or online; - Classroom sessions on pre-determined topics/themes of interest; - Company Visits; - Cultural Events; - Project research to accelerate the development of an integrated perspective on international management and business challenges.
- Develop a mindset for global business and global competitiveness; - Learn and practice to deal effectively with the unique risks of international investment and operations; - Understand how to work through the complex and difficult infrastructure, bureaucratic, and cultural challenges of an emerging economy.
