Executive Education Ranking, Financial Times 2018

GETTING TO THE TOP IS A CHALLENGE.

STAYING THERE IS A MATTER OF PRIDE.

FOR 14 YEARS FDC HAS BEEN RANKED AMONG THE
WORLD`S BEST BUSINESS SCHOOLS.

For the 14th consecutive year, the Financial Times’ Executive Education Ranking has rated Fundação Dom Cabral as the No. 1 business school in Latin America. Results were announced June 3, 2019. The Financial Times also rated FDC as the 10th best business school in the world, a ranking FDC held last year. In addition, the global business publication classifies FDC, founded in Belo Horizonte, as the No. 1 business school in Brazil. FDC has been among the world’s 20 best business schools for the last thirteen years.

The Financial Times’ Executive Education Ranking combines two different business-school rankings: Open Programmes and Customised Programmes. FDC ranks No. 14 and No. 8 respectively in these categories.

With regard to Customised Programmes rankings, FDC has stood out in the areas of “Programme Design” (No. 7), “Results Achieved” (of No. 6), “Faculty” (No. 7, up five positions from its previous ranking), and “Facilities” (No. 1, skipping from the 2nd  to the first place).

Outstanding Open Programmes areas were “Programme Design” (No. 6, up six positions from its previous ranking), “Teaching Methods and educational material” (No. 6, up five positions compared 2018).

“Being named Latin America’s best business school and one of the world’s best business schools for 14 years in a row is proof of the quality and consistency of the work we develop here", said Executive Associate Dean Aldemir Drummond. "And all this within the high volatility business scenario Brazil has experienced in the last few years. We believe that everyone who contributed to these results should take pride in rankings and view them as incentives to do even better."
