Our Professional Master’s in Business Administration (MPA) prepares students to experience markets from either academic or business viewpoints. The programme develops professionals willing to gain reflective, analytical and critical skills applied to contemporary managerial activities. By combining solid conceptual knowledge with academic rigour based on scientific methods, the MPA invites students to look at reality through new viewpoints, thus widening their intellectual autonomy. Knowledge on the areas of economics, finance, logistics and innovation is offered in these studies which, therefore, have a multidisciplinary character. Subjects are addressed here from a systemic perspective. It encompasses three lines of research: The first line, Strategy and Execution, investigates strategic implementations from the practical point of view of managers’ discourse and decision-making. The second line, Strategy and innovation, surveys the companies’ capacity for understand technology and market advances related to digitization and how to implement them to obtain appropriate management systems that involve strategy, culture and innovation processes. The third line of research, Collaborative Strategies, addresses aspects related to governance and management of networks, partnerships and other interorganizational collaborative arrangements, including open innovation. **Leadership and Organizational Behavior** The line of action “Leadership and Organizational Behavior” addresses the actions of individuals and groups in organizational contexts, in an attempt to explain the phenomena of power, politics and decision-making in the relations between individuals, work, organizations and society. Knowledge on fields such as organizational behavior, philosophy, psychology and psychoanalysis are part of the program, which is focused, therefore, on a relational approach. This line of action encompasses two research axes. The first – Managerial Practices and Work – investigates issues inherent in managerial activities and boundary work, especially in relation to middle management individuals and their discursive practices and narratives. People, Work and Society addresses the phenomenon of leadership at multiple levels of analysis, as well as issues inherent in entrepreneurship and management of people.

*70% of our students advance in their careers and increase their income levels within two years of completing the program.** In the 2017-2020 quadrennium, we had 73 publications by our students and alumni, including 38 bibliographic productions (e.g., scientific articles) and 35 technical productions (e.g., presentations, research reports, etc.). Of these publications, about 70% were derived from their dissertation work, demonstrating concrete results from the knowledge generated in our program. The technical productions of our professors during the 2017-2021 quadrennium totaled 741 events, categorized as follows: 203 interviews, round tables, programs, and media comments; 200 social media, websites, and blogs; 150 other types of technical production; 112 technical works; 72 advisory and consultancy services; 2 technological products; 1 unregistered computer program; and 1 process or technique. Our professors are encouraged to promote pedagogical innovation and practice-oriented research. Thus, there is an expectation that professors will have technological productions related to, for example, operational models, games, videos, evaluations, tools, books, as well as executive publications such as diagnostics, thematic reports, or events and media for the business community. The social impact of intellectual production was amplified by the presence of professors in high-reach media outlets such as Revista Época Negócios, Valor Econômico, Estadão, G1, and SXSW. The topics addressed included innovation, digital transformation, strategic management, and sustainability, connecting the programs to society and positioning the professors as references in their fields. The international impact was also significant, with initiatives such as the "Developing Social Innovation Digital Ecosystems" project, led by Professor Douglas Wegner, in partnership with TU Dortmund University, which generated a widely accessed policy brief.
