Corporate Governance
Maria Teresa de Azeredo Roscoe is a  professor at FDC. She holds a master degree in Business Administration from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais, and a B.Sc. in Pedagogy from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais. She is a member of the STEP Project for Family Enterprise – Babson College and is certified in Appreciative Inquiry: Igniting Positive Change in Business & Society from Case Western Reserve University – Weatherhead School of Management. Maria Tereza holds expressive experience in the areas of management, governance, shareholder development and family business, succession, organization and corporate restructuring. As an executive, Maria Tereza followed a successful career path managing a family business in the industrial construction sector. In the management area, she develops projects in the areas of strategy deployment, organizational model definition, and all phases of process restructuring and redesigning.  In family businesses, Maria Tereza develops projects in partner & shareholder development, corporate alignment, family cohesion, succession, preparation for transition, new generation development and coaching. She is also an expert in governance, its structuring, definition of forums and roles, planning, implementation and committees’ follow-up.   At FDC she was in charge of PDA (Program for shareholder development) for seven years. Currently, she works as academic advisor and professor for PDA, as a professor for PAEX (Partners for Excellence Program) and for custom programs. Maria Tereza worked as a professor and developed solutions for companies such as:  Bunge, FMC, Saint Gobain, Tigre, Aracruz, Paranasa, Caixa Seguros, Odebrecht, SDM Angola, BMS, Rexam, DaimlerChrysler, Copagás, Wirex, Weg, Labtest, Softex, PCDF, among others. She is also a lecturer, researcher and the author of articles and book chapters in Brazil and abroad.
