Sergio Pires holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Administration, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from PUC-MINAS. As an adjunct professor at  Fundação Dom Cabral, for the area of finance, since 1986, Sergio Pires teaches at the specialization program in business management, in-company and open enrollment programs such as PCR - Skills - building for Results Program, Economic-financial Management Program and in other programs such as PAEX (Partners for Excellence) and PDA (Shareholder and Business Family Development Program). Sergio Pires held the position of financial-administrative director at a large group of car dealers for 11 years. He is the co-author of the book Finanças Corporativas: Teoria e Prática Empresarial no Brasil, 2008.
