Pedro Paulo de O. Melo deals in the areas of process and project management. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, an MBA Degree in e-Business and a Specialization Certificate in Project Management.  Pedro Paulo is an adjunct professor at Fundação Dom Cabral - FDC, and works for PAEX (Partners for Excellence Program), open enrollment, specialization and custom programs for companies such as Petrobras, Assodeere (John Deere), Confederação Nacional do Comércio, SESC-DN, Incaper, IGUATEMI, EBC, Cia. Sul Americana de Distribuição, Banco do Brasil-Mapfre, IEF–MG, UNILEVER, KPMG, MP-ACRE. Pedro Melo is a faculty member at IETEC, since 2002, teaching Quality Management in Projects. He also taught at Fundação Getúlio Vargas/BI in Belo Horizonte. Prof. Melo worked as a consultant for companies such as SOTREQ, SEMAD (IPEAD-UFMG), Tecon Salvador, Oil States Industries do Brasil, SEBRAE-MG.   He also held the position of leading auditor for the VSB implementation project – Vallourec Sumitomo Tubos do Brasil.  Pedro Paulo was the director of KERN- Processos Industriais from 2010 to 2013 and Technical Leader of Engineering Projects at Mercedes Benz and Votorantim Metais in Juiz de Fora. He was a board member and vice-director at AHK – Germany Chamber of Commerce in Minas Gerais until 2011. Pedro Paulo de Melo held executive positions as manager and director assistant for companies such as Açoforja S/A, Ferteco Mineração  S/A  and Eletrometal - Aços Finos S/A (Villares Metals), Camargo Correa Metais. He is the author of the book chapter Gestão da Qualidade em Projetos from the book “Gestão de Projetos Brasil” published by IETEC in 2013.
