Paulo Almeida is professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, where he works in the areas of Leadership and People Management, with an emphasis on the development of adaptive leadership in complex, ambiguous contexts and contexts of accelerated organizational transformation. Director of the Leadership Research Center at FDC, he is a reference in topics such as adaptive leadership, leadership pipeline, organizational culture, careers, artificial intelligence applied to management, and large-scale organizational change.
He has a postgraduate degree in Administration from the Nova School of Business and Economics, and a PhD in Sociology with an emphasis on People Management and Development from the Instituto Universitário de Lisboa (IUL). In his complementary training trajectory, the Exercising Leadership: Foundational Principles program at Harvard University stands out, reinforcing his critical and transformative role in training leaders for contemporary challenges.
His career is marked by extensive national and international experience. A specialist in projects that integrate leadership, strategy, digital transformation, agile culture and humanistic values, he has already developed more than 8,000 leaderships at different levels — from strategic to operational.
His areas of expertise include: adaptive leadership, leadership pipeline, leadership in CAC (Complex, Ambiguous and Chaotic) environments, responsible leadership, high-performance teams, change management and culture, as well as leadership with artificial intelligence, purpose, and technological ethics.
He is the author and co-author of more than 250 publications, including books, articles, and technical and scientific papers published in Brazil, Portugal, and the United States. He is ranked among the 10 most cited authors in Administration on Google Scholar in Latin America, consolidating his position as one of the leading voices in the field of leadership and people management in the region.
