Marta Demattos deals in the area of people management, focusing on high performing teams, leadership, motivation, strategic HR and HR processes. She holds a Master’s Degree in Economics from UFMG/CEDEPLAR and a Specialization Certificate in Human Resources Management from Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC) and a Specialization Certificate in Corporate Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). Marta Demattos is also a Professional & Self Coaching certified by Instituto Brasileiro de Coaching (IBC). She has been an adjunct professor at Fundação Dom Cabral since 2003. Prof. Demattos has taught High Performing Teams, and was an assistant teacher for the MBA distance-program activities in People Management and Change Management.  Currently, Marta is a methodology advisor, scientific coordinator and facilitator of the Learning Virtual Environment for in-company programs. She is an advisor for MBA students’ business projects, applied projects in custom programs and final thesis in the specialization programs. She was a faculty member at IBMEC - MG, Faculdade Milton Campos, Estácio de Sá-MG, Universidade de Itaúna and PUC-MG.  Mata Demattos held managerial positions at Banco do Estado de Minas Gerais (BEMGE) and Banco Itaú as HR manager. She was also a researcher at  Fundação João Pinheiro em Belo Horizonte -MG.
