Strategy
Lívia Barakat is a professor at FDC and a researcher at the Strategy and International Business Center. She teaches courses in international strategy, cross-cultural management and positive impact. She coordinates the study Trajectories of Internationalization of Brazilian Companies at FDC. Professor Barakat holds a PhD in International Business and Knowledge Management at Copenhagen Business School, Denmark, a MSc and BBa in Business Administration from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). She has previous experience as international project director at FDC in initiatives such as the partnerships with SKEMA Business School, the International Advisory Council and Project AL-Las of Internationalization of Cities from the European Union. She has taught at Pontific Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC-MG). She is an author of several articles in international journals such as Latin American Business Review, Journal of World Business, and International Journal of Emerging Markets.
