Elismar Álvares holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais and several specialization certificates and titles. Elismar Álvares is a professor, lecturer, speaker and researcher at Fundação Dom Cabral, a specialist in topics related to Family Business and Corporate Governance. In the last 25 years, Professor Elismar Álvares worked as conflict mediator and consultant for family businesses, in projects related to corporate succession (assets and management), design and elaboration of corporate agreements and family protocols, and corporate governance structuring and streamlining, having performed as coach in Administration Boards of medium and large organizations, besides having participated as a member of Administration Boards of several companies. She is the creator of two important educational solutions at FDC: PDA – Shareholder and Business Family Development Program, and PDC – Board Member Development Program. Professor Elismar Álvares is the author of books and articles on these topics.
