Américo works in the areas of project scientific orientation, people management, organizational architecture and governance. He is also an executive mentor for managers and directors. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, (emphasis on Human Resources Strategic Management) from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, a specialization certificate in Human Resources Administration from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado – FAAP, a specialization certificate in Industrial Administration from Fundação Carlos Alberto Vanzolini – POLI-USP. Américo has also attended the following programs: Human Resource Executive Program at the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business - (USA); Senior Leadership Development Program at Georgetown University - The McDonough School of Business,(USA); Board Member Certification Program, at Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa – IBGC, and several certificates and extension programs in teaching practices, in organizational consulting, in corporate governance and in human development. Professor at PDD PAEX in Brazil and Paraguay and corporate programs at Fundação Dom Cabral.  He holds sound experience in C-level positions, having led strategic projects in organizational transformation, enterprise restructuring, and mergers & acquisitions. He held executive human resources management positions in three leading companies in the market: PwC, IBM and Nextel, encompassing Latin, Central and North America. Specialist collaborator for the book Quem Quer Ser Líder, organized by Tatiane Souza (publisher: Letramento), on the subjects of ethics, compliance, ethical leadership; author of articles on corporate management, technology and self-knowledge.
