Professor Alexandre holds a professional master’s degree in administration, with an emphasis on entrepreneurship and innovation, from PUC Minas/FDC, an MBA in Business Management and training as a Management Advisor, both from FDC, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from UFMG. He has several extension courses in entrepreneurship, innovation and design thinking at Babson College, the University of California and MIT Sloan, among others.
Since 1995, he has been an instructor accredited by the UN to teach a United Nations program to develop entrepreneurial behaviors. He works as an executive coach and mentor for startups. Since 2005, he has worked as a professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, in the areas of entrepreneurship, design thinking, innovation and strategy, in several programs. All his professional experience was developed as a businessman, in various segments (engineering, retail trade, service provision and consultancy/training). He was a leader of class associations and labor unions. Alexandre received 4 awards for business excellence, and was recognized state and nationally wide by ABRH - Brazilian Association of Human Resources for his research and work to develop intrapreneurship in medium and large organizations,
He created an unprecedented model for developing corporate entrepreneurship, which was the winner of the Inter-American Oscar Urrutia award from FIDAGH (Interamerican Federation of Human Resources Associations) He has presented articles and lectures at state, national, inter-american and world conferences.
