Alexandre de Araújo Castro holds a Professional Master's Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on entrepreneurship and innovation from PUC Minas/FDC. He  also holds an MBA degree from FDC, a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from UFMG, and has attended extension courses on entrepreneurship and innovation at  Babson College and the University of California. Alexandre is a UN accreditted instructor to facilitate training programs on entrepreneur behavior development. He is an executive coach and mentor for startups, and since 2005 he has been a professor at  Fundação Dom Cabral, for subjects such as Entrepreneurship, Design Thinking and Innovation in various educational programs. All his profissional experience was acquired as an entrepreneur in different segments (engineering, sales, services and consultancy & training). Former trade union and professional council leader. He was awarded with four corporate excellence prizes and three times with regional and national prizes by  ABRH-  Brazilian Association for Human Resources for his researches to develop intrapreneurship in small and medium companies. He has designed a unique model to develop corporate entrepreneurship, being awarded with the Interamerican  Prize Óscar Urrutia from FIDAGH (Interamerican Federation of Human Management Associations). He has made article presentations and speeches in national and international conferences.
