Adso Castelo Branco holds a master’s degree in business administration from USP – University of São Paulo and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UnB – University of Brasília. As additional training, he attended extension courses on strategy formulation, strategy mapping using the Balanced Scorecard, engagement in strategy, management for results in public administration, monitoring & evaluation, and indicator modeling. Adjunct Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral and Academic Advisor at PAEX, he is a strategy specialist. His main areas of interest are strategic planning, strategy management and governance, growth strategies, performance improvement and portfolio and project management. Adso has experience leading strategic consultancy projects in national and multinational companies in the financial, pharmaceutical, food, energy, health, education, pulp and paper, logistics, pension funds, construction materials, civil construction, public and third sectors. The main projects include strategic planning and financial results for one of the largest Brazilian business groups and the development of growth strategies and entry into new markets for a food multinational company. In addition to that, Adso has developed strategic planning projects for a higher education institution, a consumer goods company and a pulp and paper unit. In the public area, some projects stand out such as the projects for preparing a Multi-Year Planning, strategy deployment in the Court of Justice, process management in the Federal Executive Branch, and the implementation of a Management by Results model in three state executive governments. He was also responsible for the executive board of a medical orthosis and prosthesis distribution company, with branches in four states, where he was responsible for the administrative and financial area.
