About FDC

Campus Fundação Dom Cabral

Fundação Dom Cabral is a development center for executives, entrepreneurs and public managers that has been committed to carrying out a dialogue and listening to organizations for the past 35 years while building integrated educational solutions together with them. It focuses on creating a team that will critically and strategically interact within companies.

FDC was created in 1976 as an offshoot of the Extension Center of the Minas Gerais Catholic University. It is an autonomous, non-profit institution that has developed strong international ties that ensure it has access to major management technology production centers and cutting-edge management thinking.

After training thousands of executives and constantly interacting with companies, FDC has become a domestic reference center in the industry as it actively engages in developing and enhancing management standards at Brazilian companies. About 30 thousand executives attend its open enrollment, customized and partnership programs for mid and large-size companies each year.

The Fundação Dom Cabral knowledge generation centers produce studies on Brazilian businesses and how they are managed, which provides a solid foundation for all FDC programs and exemplifies its advanced stage as a knowledge-generating institution. The ten FDC Knowledge Centers are: Petrobras Sustainability Center, Corporate Governance Center, Vale Leadership Development Center, Entrepreneurship Center, Strategy and Business Management Center, International Business Center, Innovation Center, CCR Infrastructure and Logistics Center, B2B Markets Strategic Management Center, and Health Management Center.

In 2012, Fundação Dom Cabral was ranked as the 8th best business school in the world according to the 2012 Financial Times Executive Education ranking.
