**AMBA – THE ASSOCIATION OF MBAS** FDC holds the most important international quality seal that an MBA Program may be awarded. “The organization, with headquarters in London, provides accreditation for the world’s best programs”, ensures quality standards and promotes knowledge, ideas and best practices exchange among important international business schools associated to it. **EQUIS** FDC is also certified by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS), which is, like AMBA, a reputable and judicious international system of quality assessment and certification of business schools worldwide. It is managed by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), with headquarters in Brussels. The Executive MBA Program is conducted in Nova Lima, a city in Belo Horizonte (MG) Metropolitan Area, and in São Paulo city. A blended format is adopted, combining presential and online activities. The methodology of the Program includes eight face-to-face modules that, in Nova Lima, take place in an immersion system lasting one week each (except for Module VI and elective courses, which lasts three days). In São Paulo, classes are predominantly held from Thursday to Saturday, in addition to participation in Module VI and in elective courses, which are held in Nova Lima (MG). Bringing flexibility to the program and to better meet the different professional interests, the participant will choose four among eight elective courses to take. Four courses are entirely held in English, allowing executives from international schools to participate. Each participant must take at least two courses in English. **How far can knowledge bring you?** FDC’s Executive MBA gives you the chance of complementing your education by providing international experience at partner schools abroad, where you will attend elective courses that address different subjects. In addition to increasing your competencies in management, you will have the opportunity to experience reality in other countries and to gain access to a qualified networking by contacting participants from international schools. There is a possibility of Executive MBA courses exemptions due to credit transfers from partner schools. Classes in english or spanish, without simultaneous translation. **Current participants** may participate in elective courses during the Exchange Program without paying an enrollment fee. Enrollment can be made until the last day of the in-person module of the MBA. Upon entering the Program, the participant becomes part of the FDC Alumni Network – a community of approximately 30,000 members. The mission of this community is to create an engaged and lasting relationship between participants, alumni and other stakeholders, thus promoting a strong and connected network. Through this synergistic partnership, FDC Alumni Network members are able to contribute to the sustainable development of a better Brazil for all. In addition, this community provides opportunities for networking with highly qualified executives and entrepreneurs, moments of continuing education with professors from FDC and partner schools, volunteering actions and other initiatives, prioritizing the delivery of value to members and society.
**Professional and Academic Performance** The applicant’s professional performance is a mandatory prerequisite for the selection process, and the candidate must have at least ten years of experience, five of which as a manager with relevant achievements and professional growth. This history must be confirmed by the company and by a third reference. The applicant’s education and academic performance shall also be reviewed. **Managerial Potential and Career Plan** The applicant’s managerial potential will be assessed based on their professional experience and career plan, in addition to their expectations and purposes, as stated by the employing companies. The applicant’s communication skills, interpersonal relationships and their ability for teamwork and performance in leadership roles shall also be evaluated. **Suitability of the Participant to the Group** Applicants shall be selected when in harmony with the technical and behavioral profile of the group. Applicants with the expected profile for the Program, but not suitable for the group’s profile shall be instructed to wait for other groups to be formed. **Mastering English** A valid English certificate that proves Level B1 (equivalent to intermediary) proficiency, according to the requirements of the programme. We preferentially accept certificates issued by a partner consultancy firm (to be informed during the selection process) or by TOEFL, TOEIC, OPT, IELTS and BULLATS, as long as scoring corresponds to Level B1 and validity extends for 2 years starting at the date of application to the programme. **Required Documents** The candidate shall submit the complete application form, their CV, a copy of the certificates of graduation, the English language certificate or test result, and a letter of professional referral. Once the documentation is fully submitted, the Selection Committee shall evaluate the documents and book the date for the applicant’s one-to-one interview.
