Ricardo Pelegrini

Ricardo Pelegrini is a visiting professor at Fundação Dom Cabral and an executive with extensive international experience in technology, innovation, and business strategy. He holds a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Faculdades Associadas de São Paulo, in addition to solid complementary training at leading institutions such as Harvard Business School, Columbia University, IBM Learning Center, and Fundação Dom Cabral, with a focus on senior leadership, strategic management, and innovation. He is the founder of Quantum4, a company established in 2017 to provide the Brazilian market with innovation solutions based on high-impact technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, Big Data, and Cloud Computing, as well as strong expertise in tax optimization and innovation incentives under Brazilian law. Over his 30-year career at IBM, he held several prominent executive positions, including President and General Manager of IBM Brazil and Vice President roles in Latin America and emerging markets, with international assignments in China and Italy, leading major operations and value-creation strategies in sectors such as financial services, industry, technology, and consulting. He also contributed to IT solution development at Mercedes-Benz Brazil and worked at Tyco Electronics, gaining experience in technology applied to business since the start of his career. He is a member of the Endeavor group, co-founder and member of the Business Mobilization Committee for Innovation (MEI) and of the Instituto Candido de Desenvolvimento Social, and was recognized as Personality of the Year in Business Administration, as well as being part of IBM's select group of top global executives.
