Pedro Brinca

Ph.D. in Economics from Stockholm University, Sweden. Associate Professor and Researcher at Nova SBE. He has held positions at the University of Minnesota, the European Central Bank and the European University Institute. He has published several articles in international journals, such as the Journal of Monetary Economics and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control. He is also co-author of a chapter in the second edition of the Handbook of Macroeconomics. He also has extensive teaching experience at Stockholm University. He is a reviewer for several international scientific journals and associate editor of the journal Notas Económicas. He teaches and researches in the field of macroeconomics, namely business cycles, fiscal policy, and the relevance of micro-heterogeneity for macroeconomic aggregate dynamics.
