He was a Board Member at the Instituto Mídia Étnica, 2005 to 2016. He served as Coordinator of Business Promotion at the City Hall of Salvador, 2006 to 2008. Author and consultant on Diversity and Innovation, he is Cofounder of Vale do Dendê, AFRO.TV, and the Afrofuturism Festival.
