Paulo Almeida
Paulo Almeida is a Professor at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC), where he teaches and conducts research in the fields of Leadership and People Management, with a particular focus on developing adaptive leaders capable of navigating complex, ambiguous, and rapidly changing organizational environments.
As Director of FDC’s Leadership Research Center, he is recognized for his work on adaptive leadership, leadership pipeline development, organizational culture, career management, artificial intelligence applied to management, and large-scale organizational transformation.
He holds a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Nova School of Business and Economics and a Ph.D. in Sociology, with an emphasis on People Management and Development, from ISCTE-IUL (University Institute of Lisbon). His executive education includes the Exercising Leadership: Foundational Principles program at Harvard University, which further strengthens his work in preparing leaders to address contemporary organizational challenges.
His career combines extensive national and international experience. A specialist in projects that integrate leadership, strategy, digital transformation, agile culture, and humanistic values, he has contributed to the development of more than 8,000 leaders across all organizational levels, from operational to executive positions.
