Mafoane Odara
Mafoane Odara is a psychologist, with a Master's in Psychology from the Universidade de São Paulo.
She is a columnist, consultant, researcher, activist, and currently serves as Head of Human Resources for Latin America at Meta.
She is one of the leading Brazilian voices in debates on diversity, equity, and inclusion in the corporate and public spheres.
She also promotes reflection on the challenges women face in confronting violence, motherhood and career, as well as institutional politics. Mafoane often describes herself as a bridge-builder and a collector of good questions.
She is Chair of the Board of Directors of the Fundo Brasil de Direitos Humanos and is a member of the Diversity Council of FGV-SP and the Advisory Councils of the Instituto para Igualdade de Gênero na Política - Vamos Juntas and the Escola de Formação Política - RenovaBR. She is also a member of the Political Leaders Networks of RAPS (Rede de Ação Política pela Sustentabilidade), the Fundação Lemann, and the Movimento Agora!.
