Karen Miura
Karen Miura is a visionary driving the future of leadership in the corporate world and has become a reference in applying the practice of Futurism within that same universe. She serves as a Board Member at Grupo Sanus Tech, focused on healthcare in the Midwest region, at DoB-Diversity on Board, an association with a global presence and more than 1,800 board members, and is Chairwoman of eStracta, a company that applies AI to compliance in Brazil. Karen also holds the position of Independent CVO-Chief Visionary Officer, adding value with her nexialist and polymath experience in Tax, Finance, Tech, Turnaround, M&A and Growth, acquired over more than 20 years as an executive at multinationals such as EY, Alstom, Walmart, HPE and Pátria Investimentos. Karen holds a degree in Law from UNIP, Accounting from Alvares Penteado, a postgraduate degree in Taxation from PUC, an MBA in Finance and Controllership from USP, is certified as a Lean Governance Board Member by Board Academy, and in 2025 was certified in the USA in Strategic Foresight by the Future Today Strategic Group-FTSG of Amy Webb (today's leading futurist). She was featured on the cover of Valor Econômico as a symbol of the new professions of the future and was the protagonist of the "CVO" series by the renowned Meio e Mensagem. Karen Miura, Tech and Future Board Member, is strongly dedicated to UN SDG 5, serving as: Director of Institutional Relations at W-CFO Brazil, with more than 200 Finance vice-presidents; Leader of the Finance Committee at Women Leaders in Fintechs-WLF, with leaders from various Fintechs; Ambassador of the Brazil Chapter of the GSW-Global Women in STEM movement, a global network in Tech; Founder of the Comunidade Maternidade Executiva, where she mentors senior global corporate executives; and Host of the podcast "Como Elas Conseguem?", which gives voice to high-performing working mothers. She is also a columnist for Portal da Reforma Tributária, author of five books, and a sought-after speaker on technology, innovation and futurism.
