Hugo Tadeu

Hugo Tadeu is a Professor and Director of the Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Research Center at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC), with more than 20 years of experience leading projects with large corporations, mid-sized companies, and public institutions.

He currently coordinates high-impact collaborations with globally recognized institutions, including the World Economic Forum, IMD, PwC, Meta, and CI&T, focusing on international competitiveness and digital maturity assessments for countries and organizations.

His academic research is centered on the application of Artificial Intelligence to scenario planning and strategic foresight, in partnership with organizations such as Embrapii, Nexa Resources, and the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG).

Recognized as one of Brazil’s leading experts in innovation and technology, he has received several prestigious distinctions and was named one of Brazil’s Top 10 Creators in 2025 by LinkedIn and the iBest Award.

He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from PUC Minas, completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of British Columbia, and has executive education certifications from Singularity University, MIT, the Clayton Christensen Institute, Nova School of Business and Economics (Nova SBE), and the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance (IBGC).

In addition to his academic and professional activities, he is a weekly columnist for Época Negócios magazine, where he writes about emerging trends in technology, innovation, and business transformation.​‌
