Felipe Monteiro

Over the past nine years (2013-2022), Professor Monteiro received the Dean's Commendation for Teaching Excellence in the MBA Program at INSEAD. Before joining INSEAD, he was a permanent faculty member at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, where he also received, for four consecutive years (2009-2012), the “Exceeding Expectations” Teaching Award, for his notable contributions and dedication to teaching excellence in the MBA program's core curriculum. In 2011, Professor Felipe Monteiro also received the Wharton Undergraduate Teaching Excellence Award. Previously, Professor Monteiro was a Fellow and award-winning professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He also served as Senior Researcher in Latin American Research at Harvard Business School and was Adjunct Professor at IBMEC in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where he won seven teaching awards between 1998 and 2002.
