Claudimar Veiga

He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and Strategy and serves as a Professor and Permanent Researcher at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).

He has a distinguished academic and executive career, having served as Professor and Director of the School of Management at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), as well as a senior executive at Nestlé, where he participated in the creation of Dairy Partners Americas, the joint venture between Nestlé and Fonterra. A CNPq Productivity Research Fellow, he serves on the editorial boards of national and international academic journals and collaborates with universities in Brazil and abroad, including Southeast University (China).

His research focuses on Strategy and Markets, with an emphasis on strategy and management, encompassing traditional marketing, retailing, social marketing, consumer behavior, sustainable consumption, innovation, and decision-making modeling.

The results of his research, often developed through collaborative networks involving researchers and students, have been published in leading academic journals, including The Lancet, Nature, BMJ, Review of Managerial Science, Management Review Quarterly, Technology in Society, Journal of Business Ethics, Perspectives on Psychological Science, Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development, Social Responsibility Journal, Journal of Financial Services Marketing, Brain and Behavior, Journal of Marketing Analytics, and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, among others.

He currently coordinates CNPq-funded research projects addressing topics such as the consumer journey and the use of social marketing to promote health; management, marketing, and strategy in organizations from a contemporary perspective; and the development of sustainable business models aimed at the base of the economic pyramid.

His scientific work is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a strong focus on generating practical impact and social relevance.
