Angela Donaggio
Ph.D. in Commercial Law from Universidade de São Paulo (FD-USP), approved cum laude with a strong recommendation for publication. Visiting Researcher at Harvard Law School and Visiting Professor at Cornell Law School, Master's in Business Law and Economic and Social Development (FGV) and Graduate in Law (PUC-SP).
Founder and member of the Law and Diversity Study Groups at FGV and FACAMP and member of the People Committee of IBGC.
She is the author of academic articles on corporate governance, ESG, diversity and corporate law. In 2019 she co-authored the Private Sector Opinion “Women in Business Leadership Boost ESG Performance: Existing Body of Evidence Makes Compelling Case” (International Finance Corporation – World Bank, 2019). In 2014 she won the IBGC Itaú Academia Award. In 2013 she won the 9th ANBIMA-Casa das Garças Capital Markets Award for best doctoral thesis project (ANBIMA/IEPE/CdG).
Author of the book Governança Corporativa e Novo Mercado: Proteção ao investidor e falhas no marco-regulatório (Saraiva, 2012). She has experience improving governance, compliance and diversity models for several companies. She is a founding partner of Consultoria e Educação Executiva. She was a consultant for Internal Audit, Regulatory & Compliance Services at KPMG Risk Advisory Services in Brazil and Coordinator of the Audit Committee Institute at KPMG in Brazil. She was Project Coordinator at IBGC and actively participated in Committees that drafted reference documents on corporate governance in Brazil.
