André de Almeida

André de Almeida is a Full Professor of Philosophy at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC). He is also a Psychoanalyst and Philosophical Counselor, certified by the American Philosophical Practitioners Association (APPA). For five years, he served as a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Sussex, United Kingdom, and has also worked as a consultant for the United Nations (UN).

He holds both a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Sussex. He is the author of the book Agent Particularism: The Ethics of Human Dignity.

His work spans several areas of Philosophy and proposes original approaches to applying philosophical thinking to management and organizational contexts.
