Maria Elisa holds a Doctorate Degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Small Company Strategy and Management from HEC – Montreal and McGill University, Canada, a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais – UFMG, and a Specialization Certificate in Market Administration from Centro Universitário UMA. Maria Elisa Brandão is an adjunct professor at Fundação Dom Cabral – FDC, for the area of strategy, organization and management models. She was a faculty member for graduate programs at Centro Universitário UNA, Centro Universitário Newton Paiva, Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo – UFES and FUMEC. Maria Elisa has been a consultant at SEBRAE/MG for special projects on building collective strategies since 2006. At Banco do Estado de Minas Gerais – BEMGE, professor Brandão worked as an internal consultant, delivering training programs to managers and department heads. She holds extensive experience in Business Administration, with focus on small company management, working on the following subjects: Organizational Strategy, SME Management, Knowledge Management and Organization Theory. Author of several publications in conference proceedings in Brazil and abroad, focusing on the process of strategy building
