Fernando Antônio Moreira Calaes holds a bachelor degree in Agricultural Engineering (Universidade Federal de Viçosa, Brazil), a specialization certificate in Environmental and Sanitation Engineering (UFMG, Brazil) and an MBA in Finance (IBMEC, Brazil). Adjunct professor at Fundação Dom Cabral and faculty member of the MBA program at FUMEC. He is a member of the IBEF (Brazilian Finance Executives Institute), IBGC (Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance) and a founder member and director of IMMC (Minas Gerais Capital Market Institute). Fernando is certified by IBCG as a board member, being a member of consultative and statutory boards, including joint-stock companies. He is a family business technical coach in corporate finance, people management, strategy, organizational structure and results-based management.
Professional experience at Açominas/Gerdau, in the environmental, administrative, human resources and financial areas. Former Administrative & Finance Director at TRIP Linhas Aéreas S.A. and UNITAS S.A., holding, at the same time, the position of Shareholder Relations. Fernando has developed several projects in organizational and capital structure, feasibility studies, and M&A in the steel, services, retail, construction, mining, and agribusiness sectors, among others.
