Cássio de Pinho Tavares is an adjunct professor and researcher for the areas of finance and strategy at Fundação Dom Cabral. He holds a master degree in Business Administration from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (2002) and specialization certificates in Strategy Management (UFMG) and Financial Management (UNA). He works as a professor for specialization and custom programs at FDC, since 1999, and participates as a faculty member in graduate programs at professional associations and educational institutions such as IEC-PUC Minas, IBMEC_MG, SICCOB-Crediminas, IETEC, etc. Tavares has had relevant experience holding the position of finance executive in industrial corporations and third sector firms. Since 1991, Tavares has  developed different consulting projects encompassing conception, implementation and follow-up in organizations of all sizes and from different sectors. He is also a lecturer in seminars, workshops and short programs, and a member of the fiscal committee of some organizations.
