Antonio Correa de Lacerda is a guest speaker at Fundação Dom Cabral - FDC in the area of macroenvironment, economic and scenario analysis, since 1998. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Economic Sciences from UNICAMP - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, and a Master’s Degree in Political Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica – PUC/ SP. Lacerda is a full professor at the graduate program in Economics at Pontifícia Universidade Católica – PUC/SP, since 1990, where he currently manages the School of Economics, Administration, Accounting and Actuarial Sciences, and is a guest professor at Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA), since 2013. Antonio Lacerda is a writer at the "O Estado de S. Paulo” newspapers and several other publications, and a commentator at the Jornal da Cultura (TV Cultura) and other programs at GloboNews. He is a former Lead Economist and Strategist at Siemens Group in Brazil and President of SOBEET – Brazilian Society for Studies on Transnational Firms and Economic Globalization, where he currently is a Member of the Consultative Committee. He was the President of Cofecon (Economic Federal Council) and of Corecon – Economic Regional Council of the State of São Paulo; director of the Celso Furtado International Center for Development and of the Economics Department at ABINEE – Brazilian Association of Electro-Electronic Industry and Director of Depecon- Economics Department of FIESP (Industry Federation of the State of São Paulo) and CIESP (Center of Industries of the State of São Paulo). Professor Correa de Lacerda is a member of the Higher Council of Economics at FIESP, of the Thematic Council of Economic Politics at CNI (Industry National Confederation), of the GACINT – Group for International Scenario Analysis/ USP and of the Institute Fernand Braudel of World Economics. Author, organizer, and coauthor of around 20 books, being one of them the book "Desnacionalização" (Contexto, 2000). He was one of the winners of the Jabuti Prize, awarded by the Brazilian Book Chamber in the economics field and is the author of several academic and scientific articles in this field.
