Samir Lótfi Vaz is a full-time professor at the Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC)
He has a PhD in Business Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV - EAESP), with a sandwich period at IESE-Barcelona.
He has served as coordinator, professor and researcher for FDC's Professional Master's in Administration (MPA), in the areas of Strategy and Leadership.
His research examines the practices, sense-making and communication between employees, managers and leaders related to strategy, organizational change and extreme contexts.
He has dozens of national and international publications in newspapers, magazines, executive papers, scientific articles and book chapters.
Throughout his teaching and research career, he has contributed to the generation of knowledge and development with a positive impact on various individuals and/or organizations. Some of them are Sicoob, Sicredi, Incaper, Fiat, Votorantim Cimentos, Grupo RBS, Cemig, Siemens, Oxiteno, Grupo Fleury, Thyssenkrupp, Bradesco Saúde, MaterDei, Cedro Têxtil, Algar Telecom, Petrobrás and Syngenta.
