Ricardo Abdala holds a Master’s Degree in Production Engineering (emphasis in Business Management and Marketing) from UFSC and a Specialization Certificate in Quality and Productivity Management from Centro Universitário UNA. As further education, Abdala attended the extension course on Higher Education Methodology at Centro Universitário UNA. Ricardo is an adjunct professor at Fundação Dom Cabral – FDC, where he held the position of Scientific Coordinator of the Specialization Program in Business Management (2004 -2013) and of the PAEX (Partners for Excellence) groups. Abdalla is a guest professor of Competitive Intelligence at MIT Sloan School of Management, Boston USA, since 2014. He was a guest professor at the Center for Applied Sociology Research at Sorbonne Université, France, and was a guest speaker at Salzburg University, Austria. Professor and academic coordinator of the program in Hospital Management at Faculdade São Camilo em Minas Gerais and de graduate program in Hospital Maketing at Faculdade São Camilo, São Paulo. Professor Ricardo Abdalla was a guest professor in undergraduate and graduate programs at several educational institutions. He held executive positions in many Brazilian and international companies from the industrial, retail and service sectors. Abdalla was a state and federal public servant, holding operational and managerial positions. He is the author of the articles “Utilização da Inteligência Competitiva na Cadeia de Valor”(2006) and “Fatores que influenciam a decisão de utilização dos Serviços Bancários através da Internet na cidade de Belo Horizonte”(2006) and co-author of the books “Administração e Controle”, volumes 1 and 2. Editora Lítera Maciel, 1998. Ricardo Abdalla was one of the creators of the Ação Global Program, providing social inclusion and citizenship to millions of Brazilians, currently developed by Rede Globo and Industry Federations from several states in Brazil.
