Paulo Resende is a professor of logistics, supply chain, transportation, and operations planning at Fundação Dom Cabral, FDC, Brazil. He is the director of the Center for Advanced Studies in Infrastructure, Supply Chain and Logistics at FDC and the head of research at the Platform of Infrastructure in Transport Logistics, PILT FDC. Paulo holds a PhD. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA) and a Master Degree from the University of Memphis (USA). He is a board member of the Brazilian Association of Logistics Operators – ABOL. Paulo Resende is the author of several publications in the fields of logistics, transportation planning, supply chain, distribution channels, and operations management. In 2022, he was awarded by the Macrologística Magazine the Professional of the Year in Logistics, one of the most important awards in Latin America.
