Omar Fantoni has substantial experience in the areas of Strategic Planning, Controllership, Human Resources and Social Responsibility, having built his career in large renowned organizations. He holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Accounting, Business Administration and Economics from PUC-MG. Besides that, Fantoni attended the programs Advanced Management (PGA) promoted by Fundação Dom Cabral - FDC and INSEAD Business School, France. Omar Fantoni is an adjunct professor at Fundação Dom Cabral – FDC, working for the program Partners for Excellence – PAEX, since 2015, implementing its methodology in companies from different segments. Fantoni held executive positions at Açominas Gerais S/A - Açominas and Gerdau S/A, for 31 years, being 18 years as Planning, Administration and Human Resources Director. Omar was acknowledged for his performance in the coordination of the Balanced Scorecard - BSC methodology implementation at Gerdau Açominas, being awarded with the Hall of Fame award in 2006, provided by BSCol, (organization created by Dr. Kaplan and Dr. Norton), recognizing the company as the only one in Latin America to thoroughly apply the five principles of a strategy-oriented organization. Fantoni was a member of the working team that developed the SCG – Gerdau Shared Services.
