Márcio Vidal Gomes da Gama is an adjunct professor at Fundação Dom Cabral. He holds a Specialization Certificate in Production Engineering (IETEC-MG, 2004) and Bachelor’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering (PUC-MG, 1985) and in Metallurgical Engineering (UFMG, 1986). At PAEX (Partners for Excellence Program), Professor Márcio Gama has worked for several companies such as Boasafra (RO), Novalar (RO), SICOOB DIVICRED (MG), FULIG (MG), Microvet (MG), Moveis Lopas (MG), Grupo Athenas (RO), Grupo ROVEMA (RO), among others. He was a faculty member in institutions such as IEC (PUC MG) and IETEC (BH), teaching subjects related to corporate logistics management. As an executive, Marcio Gama held the position of Executive Director of industrial plants at groups such as White Martins/RBG (MG) and DIVINAL Vidros (MG), and the positions of Executive Director and President Director of the holding UNITAS (MG). He was Director of ABPM (Brazilian Association for Wood Preservation) and one of the founders and first president of PROMAT (Association for Treated Wood Companies). Professor Gama is the author of technical papers published in Brazil (Revista REFERÊNCIA –PR).
