Marketing
Having over 25 years of professional experience, Luís Amaral is adjunct professor at FDC in the areas of marketing, sales and corporate strategy and is also scientific advisor for the program Partners for Excellence (PAEX) at Fundação Dom Cabral. He holds and master’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis on marketing and strategic planning. Between 2000 and 2005, Luís worked as scientific advisor and professor of marketing at PAEX, besides teaching in graduate, open and in-company programs. He wrote the first Marketing and Sales Management Methodology for PAEX, besides being the author of a Customer Satisfaction Survey Model. Professor Luís was also professor in graduate programs at other educational institutions in Minas Gerais. He left FDC to hold the position of CEO at an Anglo-Brazilian joint venture, following all the process since its implementation until it was sold in 2015. After that, he was the director of a food retail company with branches in São Paulo and Distrito Federal. Due to his increasing interest in digital companies and entrepreneurship, in 2018 Luís left his executive career to rejoin FDC, and at the same time open Digiroad, a business development web-company. He is a member of IBGC – Brazilian Institute for Corporate Governance, of Peter Diamands’Abundance 360 – Singularity University (having attended the course in Brazil in 2018), and holds a certificate in Digital Marketing from Columbia Business School – Emeritus.
