Hugo Tadeu is a Professor and Director of the Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Research Center at Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC), with more than 20 years of experience leading projects with large corporations, mid-sized companies, and public institutions.
He currently coordinates high-impact collaborations with global reference institutions such as the World Economic Forum, IMD, PwC, Meta, and CI&T, focusing on international competitiveness and digital maturity assessments of countries and organizations. His academic research also explores the applications of artificial intelligence for scenario development, in partnership with organizations such as Embrapii, Nexa Resources, and UFMG.
Recognized as one of Brazil’s leading voices in innovation and technology, he has received several prestigious awards and was named one of Brazil’s Top 10 Creators in 2025 by LinkedIn and the iBest Award. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from PUC Minas, a postdoctoral degree from the University of British Columbia, and executive certifications from Singularity University, MIT, the Clayton Christensen Institute, Nova SBE, and IBGC.
