The link between strategy making and organizational learning.

The background is based on the recognition of the controversy surrounding the perspective of cognitive and situated theories in strategies studies. The main reasoning hold that the model of 4 I framework developed in the literature can bring light to this topic. Grounded on this, we have done a quality research on the development of the growth strategy of a Brazilian company. The research’s specific objective was to analyze the levels of learning and strategic activities. The results suggest that in the growth of strategy making four different chains of causality have developed organizational learning and promote strategic renewal.
