Sustainability
Rafael Tello holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UFMG, a Specialization Certificate in International Business from FDC and an MBA in Sustainability Management from Leuphana Unversitaet, Lueneburg, Germany. Professor Tello deals in the area of Corporate Sustainability focusing on subjects such as: corporate sustainability management, corporate sustainability implementation, sustainability communication (reports, cases, awards, social nets), sustainable construction and sustainable cities. At FDC, Tello teaches at the Corporate Sustainability Program, open enrollment Specialization Program in Business Management and in the partnership with SEST/SENAT, and for the in-company programs. He is also an advisor for applied projects and end-of-course papers.  Tello is a guest professor at Fundação José Bonifácio (MBA in sustainable construction), ISVOR (Sustainability Programs), and FIA/USP (Project Sustainable Management).  He is partner founder of IDEE, specialized in supporting entrepreneurs’ development. Among Tello’s main publications are: Sustainability Guides for Construction (CBIC and FIEMG); researches on Informality and Social Responsibility in the Construction Sector; co-authorship with professor Carlos Leite of the book chapter “Cidades e Construções Sustentáveis”; and articles on Sustainable Project Management, Sustainability Integration to Corporate Management, Case Study on Precon’s Housing Solution, and sustainability reports following the GRI, IIRC and Global Pact guidelines.
