Paulo Pires is a result-driven professional, with relevant experience in business management even as an executive, having worked in Brazil, Mexico, USA and the Southeast of Asia (based in Hong Kong). For two and a half years Paulo worked in the educational sector, developing managers from basic to a high executive level for the IBM operations in northern Latin America countries. Paulo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from UFMG, a Specialization Certificate in Informatics from IBM Brazil Educational Center, and attended management courses at LANEC – IBM Latin America Educational Center – Mexico and IBM Corporate Development Center – Armonk, NY, and Entrepreneurship from Harvard Business School. Prof. Pires is an adjunct professor at FDC, teaching Strategic Management, Processes, Coaching and Mentoring for the PAEX (Partners for Excellence) Program. He has developed programs for companies such as Romagnole, Light Sweet, Transpizzatto, SulBrasil, Sooro, Distribuidora Triunfante, Biogenesis Bagô, C&M, Enova, Lajes Patagonia, Simonetto, Grupo Athenas, Grupo Milla, Grupo Rondovisão, among others. His areas of interest are Strategic Management, Result-Oriented Management and Competitiveness Management. He is a speaker in conferences and seminars in Brazil and abroad.
