Nisia Werneck is a specialist in Economic Analysis of Urban Development (UFMG) and in Urbanism (School of Architecture – UFMG). Adjunct Professor of Organizational Strategy, Nísia Werneck is also a researcher in the Center for Sustainability at Fundação Dom Cabral. Professor Werneck is in charge of advising MBA Applied Projects related to Corporate Social Responsibility, and writing cases related to the same theme, as well. She is the coordinator of the Annual Research on Social and Environmental Reports, developed in 2001, 2002, and 2003. Nísia Werneck was FDC’s representative in the jury of the award “Social Report” granted by Instituto Ethos, APIMEC, FIDES and Aberje in 2002, 2003 and 2004.  Professor Nisia Werneck has also developed consulting projects in Petrobras (coordinated the elaboration of the Social Report in 2003), in ABN AMRO Real (elaboration of case on social responsibility strategy development and organizational social responsibility, and the strategic alignment between social action and task planning in 2005) in Banco Rural (Instituto Júnia Rabello development project), in Furnas (elaboration of social report) among others. For 16 years, Nisia held managerial positions at Banco do Estado de Minas Gerais – BEMGE. She holds extensive experience in Social Mobilization Programs, in the Ministry of Environment and Legal Amazon, Fundescola Program, Educational Pact in Minas Gerais and other social movements.  Co-author (with Bernardo Toro) of the book   “Mobilização Social: um modo de construir a democracia e a participação”, Editora Autêntica. Author of an article in the book “Investimento privado e desenvolvimento: balanço e desafios” and organizer of articles published by the educator Jose Bernardo Toro, sponsored by Instituto Synergos and published by XBrasil and Editora Senac-Rio.
