Michel Fleuriet is a guest professor at Fundação Dom Cabral – FDC, in the field of Finance, since 1975. He holds a Doctorate Degree in Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, USA. From the Université Paris-Sorbonne, Fleuriet holds a doctorate degree and a master’s degree in law. He was a founder–professor of the Professional Master’s Program “Investment Bank” from the Université Paris Dauphine (France), an Adjunct Professor at Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and Visiting Professor at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB) Shanghai Campus. He held the position of President of HSBC Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank, in France. He was also the president of Merrill Lynch Investment Bank in France, where he took part in several mergers and acquisition processes for large corporations in France (for instance, he participated in the implementation of the Alliance Renault-Nissan), in many IPO processes, privatizations and long term financing. He is a member of the administrative board of the private equity Xerys.  Fleuriet holds broad professional experience in large corporations. He is the creator of the Dynamic Model, also known as Fleuriet Model. He is the author of: ‘A Dinâmica Financeira das Empresas Brasileiras’ FDC, 1978, 1981, republished with the title ‘Modelo Dinâmico’ or ‘Modelo Fleuriet’ (2004); ‘Arte e a Ciência das Finanças: Uma Introdução ao Mercado Financeiro’ (Campus, 2006) and ‘O modelo dinâmico de gestão financeira’ (Alta Books, 2015)- M.
