Gilberto Porto is a professor, speaker and project leader encompassing the following subjects: governance for results, strategy, innovation, projects, processes, partnership models, monitoring & evaluation in public organizations. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas with an extension program at the University of South Carolina; a Specialization Certificate in Competitive Intelligence and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidade de Brasília. Professor Porto is a Certified Business Process Professional by ABPMP-BR. Gilberto is an adjunct professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, and teaches also for MBA Programs at Fundação Getúlio Vargas, at Universidade de Brasília and in government schools. He has already developed projects for municipal, state and federal public organizations from the executive, legislative and judiciary sectors. Porto also develops projects on public management improvement in international agencies such as IDB, the World Bank, PAHO/ WHO, OIS, GTZ, ACII, UN, UNDP, UNESCO among others. He is the co-author of the book “Compras públicas estaduais – boas práticas brasileiras” published by CONSAD, IDB and ENAP, and author of book chapters and articles published in public management conference proceedings. He was a member of the public management specialist committee of the Federal Government. Prof. Porto participated in projects recognized by IDB, PAHO/WHO for the results achieved.
