Social Organizations have played an important role in carrying out projects that benefit civil society. That is why FDC has developed a differentiated project: Partnership with Social Organizations - POS. Through this partnership it offer our expertise in management and in executive education to contribute to improve these organizations’ results. Our challenge is to help Social Organizations to become self-sustainable and more attractive to investments and to make it possible for them to carry out broader actions for which they need to incorporate management tools to carry out their day-to-day work. |
Cooperation among Social Organizations
POS originated from the PAEX - Partners for Excellence methodology that has been successful for over 20 years at midsized companies, and it is the Program Fundação Dom Cabral offers to Social Organizations that aim to improve their management skills. It is based on building knowledge together through exchanges of experiences among organizations with characteristics and objectives in common. Mediation offered by FDC brings together executives from the organizations who will discuss relevant themes, exchange experiences and find shared solutions. This effort is focused on professionalizing management at Social Organizations and on promoting improved results in the mid and long terms by building knowledge gradually. This is done so that good intentions can be truly turned into effective actions. What FDC aims to do is to help each organization to improve what it does best: contribute towards changing society.
