The International Advisory Council goes to São Paulo
The city of drizzle will receive this year’s meeting
In 2009, the members of our International Advisory Council had the chance to get to know Belo Horizonte and our Campus, and the following year they also got to visit the beautiful historical city of Ouro Preto. This year, the annual meeting will take place in São Paulo, Brazil’s largest city and a center of economical, political and cultural influence in the country. The meeting’s panels and forums will take place in two locations: the FDC office in the city and the Grand Hyatt hotel (also where the members will stay).
The Grand Hyatt São Paulo is located in the heart of the city, 15 minutes away from the local airport and 50 minutes from Guarulhos International Airport. With its 466 rooms and suites, and a privileged view of the city’s skyline and the Estaiada Bridge over the Pinheiros river, the Hyatt is one of the most popular hotels for tourists (and locals, who enjoy dining at the restaurant because of its fine gastronomy). The hotel also has an event and convention centre, the Espaço Grand Hyatt, with seating for up to 1,350 people, a full-service business centre and extensive catering services.
The FDC office in São Paulo is located in one of city’s newest business areas, the Vila Olímpia. In its two floors, the Center has offices, classrooms and a conference room. Both locations will provide an optimal environment for the Council’s presentations and discussions, and assure that the member’s stay in São Paulo will be not only productive, but also very enjoyable.
