The Fundação Dom Cabral Aloysio Faria Campus is located in Nova Lima County, a hilly region that is part of Greater Belo Horizonte, the capital city of the State of Minas Gerais.

It is a historic region whose settlement began around the year 1700, and it was strongly influenced by gold mining. It is the site of the famous Morro Velho mine, one of the oldest and most productive in the country.

The Campus lies 40 km (about 40 minutes) from Pampulha airport and 70 Km (about 1 hour) from Tancredo Neves (Confins) international airport.
