Fundação Dom Cabral International Advisory Council About the Council
Fundação Dom Cabral has mobilized its International Advisory Council to enhance brand recognition and broaden its international network, as well as to help formulate and implement its internationalization strategy. The IAC is composed of 85 members from all around the world, representatives from business, academic, public and nongovernmental sectors, who share an interested in Brazil and its future. The members gather once a year for the Annual Meeting, in which they discuss topics relevant both to FDC and to the executive education field.
The chairman recommended of the IAC is Professor Donald P. Jacobs, Dean Emeritus of the Kellogg School of Management.
Since 2009, the IAC has had three meetings. The first and second were both held at the FDC Campus in Nova Lima, Minas Gerais. The first meeting, in 2009, was mainly focused in Sustainable Development. In the second meeting, 2010, the council members met again for a Dialogue on Sustainable Development and to discuss the New Directions in Latin America Foreign Relations and the challenges facing corporations in the second decade of the 21st century.
In August 2011, the IAC held its third meeting in São Paulo. The main topics of discussion were Growth Perspectives for the BRICs and the risks, challenges and concerns regarding the emerging countries. |
