LOS GROBO GROUP
The Grobocopatel family has been bonded to the farm since 1916. Los Grobo Agropecuaria was created. This is the foundation of an entrepreneurship that resulted in today’s Grupo Los Grobo. During the 90’s, changes occured: great territorial expansion of the company and the position as a clear reference of the new agriculture that incorporates technology to the production. By the end of the 90’s, the idea of becoming a multinational company began to take shape. Therefore, ADP in Uruguay, Tierra Roja in Paraguay and Los Grobo Brasil would be the beginning of a regional expansion process that is currently under full development. In 2003, the third generation founded Grupo Los Grobo, maintaining the structure of several independent entities and incorporating an external Board of Directors. Over the years it evolved to become a modern organization based on innovation and backed by strong economic and financial situation. Nowadays, Grupo Los Grobo is considered one of the major grain producers of the country and one of the leading service providers of the region. It has established as an effective process coordinator within the agrifood chain by developing an extensive network of collaborative trade.
