Partnership for Shareholder Development
Cooperation among family-business shareholders
The Partnership for Shareholder Development program was created to promote development and the exchange of practices among family business owners, heirs and shareholders who will seek together to align responsibilities, prerogatives, rights and management strategies to preserve and expand family equity and facilitate company performance and continuity.
Among the content analyzed we find issues on contextualization, roles within family companies, legal and equity issues, company management, and the risks and responsibilities of shareholders and managers. This multifunctional environment is the ideal one in which to develop shareholders, both those who take part in company management and those who do not.
Partnership for Shareholder Development seeks to create a “common language” among current and future shareholders and so develop competencies to:

FDC: Melding theory and real-life practices
“Partnership for Shareholder Development fills in the gap that can be found in family businesses between ownership and management. Besides integrating the current management generation and the next one, it promotes exchanges with other companies that are going through the same problems. And its approach goes beyond the succession issue by also dealing with several other management issues during its two-year period.”
